Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant in Lebanon

I enjoyed my meal a lot. Their take on combining seafood into Mexican cuisine was fantastic. The service was really good. In fact, I nearly drained my initial glass of water in a few seconds when I thought no one was looking because I was really thirsty, and almost instantly there was someone there to refill it. This restaurant is well worth your time to visit.

Great restaurant to eat at whether you're a group of one like me or a group of many. Great food as far as the burritos and chili rellenos. Pretty upbeat place with really helpful staff. Great prices for food and the portions are huge! The whole restaurant was very clean as well. Would definitely stop in to eat again!

The best place for burgers and ice cream

This was delicious and great service. They let us sit for ages and talk after we were done eating. Didn't feel rushed at all. We'll be back.

We had a great experience here. We were seated right away despite it being very busy and coming during the dinner rush. Our server, Jennifer, was outstanding and made sure we had everything we wanted. They were extremely polite and came immediately when flagged down. The food was amazing and while the prices are high, you get such large portions that you will likely take some home with you.

Our food was so bland. What on Earth are they using for enchilada sauce? The watery , beige substance looked just like the excess liquid from a pot of beans. My enchilada was lacking that beautiful enchilada sauce made from dried chilies that brings a flare to the pallet and appearance. Instead, my tiny enchilada was a soggy blah presentation. Enchiladas should be covered in that beautiful sauce and topped with a nice later of melted cheese. Our beans tasted like the bottom of the pot was scorched. Really? Who in a kitchen doesn't know that a scorched pan will tell on you in the beans. If the bottom of the pan burns, too late..start over. The best part of our meal was the blackberry daqueri. Our server was kind the kitchen needs changes. Underwhelming dishes are becoming the new normal here. Too many cut backs in quality.

Very clean fun atmosphere! Huge portions, I'm in a food coma.... tasty and very friendly service. I was fortunate to stumble across this place driving through.

A few weeks ago my wife, son and I ate here. The service was excellent. our waiter stayed on top of the chip and drink refills. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We had chicken fajitas for two and the platter was brought out sizzling hot and with ample tortillas for the mountain of food. Thanks for a great meal.

If I wanted microwaved mediocre Mexican food, I'd but it frozen at WinCo and nuke it for myself. Furthermore the waitress ignored me, the manager took my order after I had been waving the menu in the air for five minutes. The busboy had to ring me up. For the service I got, they should have paid me for patronizing their establishment

Fine dining...@ a experienced staff and chefs..keeping it real I enjoy this place and it's a top #5 on mexican Cuisine I would recommend it to anybody

Called in at 8:55 and placed an order (they close at 9:30). Was told it will be ten minutes. Arrived at location 10 mins later only to be told rudely by the host that I called the wrong Ixtapa restaurant. Since it was still 20 minutes until close, I asked if I could still put in an order. The host looked mad that I would ask so late but agreed. Then he told me he would not be able to add shrimp to a taco salad like the Ixtapa location I mistakenly called, because the kitchen was closed. Why would the kitchen be closed 20 minutes before the restaurant closing time? Makes no sense. How hard is it to put a smile on your face and top a freaking taco salad with some shrimp? We used to be regulars here, we decided to leave before allowing him to finish our order. Never going here again. I guess Dos Arbilitos will have to be my new go-to for Mexican going forward. Shame.

We were in town visiting and decided to give this place a try. We wanted fajitas, but were hesitant to try because we have a place in our hometown that is hard to beat. We now have a new favorite, these were absolutely amazing! We ordered fajitas for two with chicken and shrimp. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the shrimp were huge and moist as well. My husband and I were stuffed by the time we left. The sauce was delicious! Service was great as well, friendly and quick despite the fact they were pretty busy. We will definitely be back!

The service ice was quick. All the employees were masks, and were very friendly. I will keep coming back.

Great food, reasonably priced and the servers were friendly and fast. We were celebrating a family member's birthday and they didn't rush us to leave. We will deffinnatly be going back.

The spicy salsa is good but ooo so spicy

Today I was a bit disappointed. We had a large group of 12..and several days ago we had mad reservations, even called yesterday to remind them to get more help. It was still chaotic and they didn't get one of our men's lunch out with the rest of our group. It was too noisy and were considered not coming back.

I used to eat here frequently back in the day. It's not the same, something is missing, I can't define it. However, amazing service and tasty food. Really can't go wrong there. The next day, I had quite possibly the worst gas and bowel movement that I've ever had in my life. Yikes!

Great Mexican restaurant with great food and hot sauce!

Usually this place is wonderful, customer service is great, etc. Though last night my wife and I ordered food. We ordered the wrong thing and called back immediately to fix it. And I mean not even a minute later.. the same lady answers and tells us she already sent the ticket back and cannot fix it. We said we would really appreciate if you could let the cooks know we made a mistake. She responded saying she couldn’t fix it and that she would get in trouble if she says anything. She then says she can talk to her boss and puts us on hold.. maybe 5 minutes later she gets back on the phone and says it’s fixed. We pick up the food, get home and the order was not fixed. We ended up eating it regardless, just a frustrating situation.

Not too expensive if you look for the right stuff friendly staff consistent food

Although food was good, the service was less than acceptable. Our order was taken by the host at the front after we sat with no service. Food delivered by someone from the kitchen. Receipt prepared by a busboy. Never actually had a designated waiter/waitress. Left after meal and one beer as no one ever offered us another drink.

Loved the food. We ordered so many things off the menu but the winning dish was the pollo augado. The dish reminded me of mini chimichangas but they were drenched in this amazing jalapeño cream cheese sauce. The service was great and speedy. And the staff was super friendly. We also had margaritas, which were also great. 10/10 would go there again.

Excellent Mexican food with very large portions. My wife is Mexican and has high expectations, these guys met our standards and exceeded them. Their Margaritas were particularly delicious.

Good food. My wife had an issue with her food and it was quickly resolved.

The prices are a little more than other Mexican restaurants, but the food makes it worthwhile. However, proportions are generous and well worth the price. The atmosphere is nice. Lots of interesting art pieces. Gives you something to look at while waiting for your food. I will go back for sure.

Favorite Mexican restaurant! Love the owner and the friendly staff. One waiter in particular always make us laugh, can’t think of his name unfortunately. Food is great, drinks are great. Love it!
